You Don't Need Experience. You Just Need to Show Up.
Most of our adult students started exactly where you are — curious about BJJ but unsure if they're fit enough, young enough, or athletic enough. They weren't sure. They showed up anyway.
Complete Beginners
Never trained a day in your life? Our curriculum is built for you. You'll learn real technique from class one.
Getting Back Into It
Trained before and fell off? We'll get you back up to speed without making you feel behind.
Already Training
Want a second mat to roll on or a change of pace? You're welcome here too.

Common Questions
Q: Am I too old or out of shape to start?
A: No. BJJ rewards technique and intelligence over size and athleticism. We have students in their 40s and 50s who train consistently and improve every month.
Q: How long until I'm good?
A: You'll feel competent within a few months and be genuinely skilled within a year. BJJ has a long learning curve — that's what makes it worth it.
Q: Do I need to buy a gi before my first class?
A: No. Come to your first trial class in athletic clothes. Your gi and rash guard are included when you enroll.
Q: What if I want to compete?
A: We support it. We don't require it. Competing is completely optional.
